It is very easy to place an order as everything is organised by EachMoment. I ordered the digitisation of a large quantity of old Super 8 Cine film, Video 8 tapes, VHS tapes and photographic negatives. What's the whole process from beginning to end?

Here's the whole process:

  1. Select your items and pay £10 deposit: Use our easy quote tool to select the media you want to convert and pay just £10 deposit to start your order.
  2. We will email you an order confirmation and welcome guide.
  3. Receive your Memory Box: Our secure courier will deliver your Memory Box to your door(order before 12pm for next day delivery).
  4. Pack your media: Carefully pack your old films, tapes, photos and more into your Memory Box. There are stickers in the box and a "Name-It Sheet", so you can tell us what to call the digital copy of each media item.
  5. Courier collection: When you're ready,  our secure courier will collect your filled Memory Box and deliver it safely to our lab.
  6. Item inspection and invoice: Once we receive your Memory Box, our team will inspect each item. We'll then issue an invoice(minus your £10 deposit).
  7. Digitisation and restoration: Once payment is successful, our expert team restores and digitizes your media. If any of your items turn out to be blank, you'll be refunded for them.
  8. Quality control and delivery: Your digitised memories go through quality control and are then uploaded to your complimentary cloud album. Any USBs or DVDs you've ordered will also be prepared.
  9. Return of originals and digital copies: Our secure courier returns your Memory Box with your original media, along with your new digital memories.
  10. Relive your memories: You can now enjoy and share your memories on any digital device, such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and smart TVs. Relive your most precious moments with ease.

How do you keep my media safe?

We've invested thousands of hours and hundreds of thousands of pounds into becoming the most secure digitisation service in Europe.

Here's how we've done it:

1. We designed the Memory Box to be lightweight yet crush-proof, so that your media is guaranteed to be safe in transit. We've never had a single item become damaged in our care.

2. We use the same specialist branch of DPD that AQA and Edexcel use to transport sealed A-level and university exam papers — and the same courier trusted to deliver UK passports. It's safe to say we've never had a single item become lost in our care.

3. We use a custom QR-code system to individually track every item throughout our facilities.
4. To maintain our quality and turnaround standards, we operate a small network of our own specialist labs. This means certain orders may be processed at the facility best equipped for that format or workload. Every transfer is GPS-tracked, logged, and handled exclusively by our in-house team — nothing ever leaves our care.

I'm not sure what's on my media. Should I still put them in my Memory Box?

Not sure what's on your media?
Don't worry – this is very common with family media collections! Here's what you need to know:

1. Blank media:
If any item turns out to be blank, you'll receive a full refund for that item.

2. Footage present:
If there's any footage at all, we'll digitise it, even if it's:

  • Very brief clips
  • Unlabeled or mystery content
  • Mixed footage on one media item

Many customers discover forgotten family moments and precious memories they didn't know they had. Our restoration process can bring out details that aren't always clear when watching old media, so you might be surprised by the treasures we find!

Can you digitise media in bad condition?

Most of the time we can digitise media in bad condition.

We inspect all media upon its arrival at our lab. If it's in bad condition, it goes to our restoration team. They will get it ready it for digitisation at no extra charge.

In the rare instances where we cannot get a transfer, you will simply be refunded those items.

How long do I wait?
